Priyanka Chopra tells the UN General Assembly and the world that "all is not well" and then posts a photo of herself with Malala Yousafzai.

As Priyanka Chopra put it, "it was about what we must do collectively to make the SDG's a reality, and we don't have a second to lose."

City of New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra represented UNICEF this past Monday at a press conference held during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). In her opening remarks at the summit, she emphasized the need for the assembled heads of state to work together to protect the "basis of a just world that we fought for." She also said that the "UN Sustainable Development Goals" are a strategy that can fix the globe even though "everything is not well." Priyanka posted a video of herself giving a speech at the function, "As countries continue to recover from the devastating effects of the COVID-19, as the climate crisis affects lives, as conflicts rage, as poverty, displacement, hunger, and inequalities destroy the very foundation of a just world that we fought for, for so long, our meeting today could not come at a more opportune time. And as we are all too aware, things are not what they seem to be, yet these crises did not arise by accident. There is a way to address these, though. The strategy is in place. As a global checklist, the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals "Was addressed by Priyanka Chopra.

Priyanka Chopra has been posting photos of herself with Malala Yousafzai, Amanda Gorman, and others on her Instagram account. The note she included with the photo she shared said, "This morning, as a proud representative of @unicef, I walked through the United Nations' gates for the second time to deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly. The Sustainable Development Goals are at the top of everyone's list this year. Today was a day of doing, striving, and having faith. The SDGs are ambitious, but we have no time to waste in working together to make them a reality." She also praised Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who invited her, in her letter. !.I appreciate being here today. @antonioguterres

She continued, "The second time was at the Transforming Education Summit, in which I also took part. It's shocking that nearly two-thirds of children can't read a basic story in low-, middle-, and high-income countries. The system has let them down. Education is the great equalizer, as the US Secretary of Education @seccardona put it so frankly, but if we keep doing what we've been doing, we'll keep getting what we've been getting. Every child is entitled to the same foundational opportunity to learn and develop to his or her fullest potential." Then, at the end of her letter, she said, "And as the amazing Amanda Gorman put it: "I dare you to mold our fate." I challenge you to be good for the sake of a better world."
